Service Description

The treatment uses a special pen to deliver hyaluronic acid into the lips or skin. The pen was actually first designed to eliminate the use of needles for those who suffer from diabetes, and has since been used by the beauty industry to allow for no needle fillers. The active ingredient used, hyaluronic acid, rejuvenates and lifts the lip area, as well as stimulating collagen production. The Hyaluronic Air pen captures air and pressure to allow Liquid Filler into the treatment area. Unlike a syringe injection, probability of infection is remote. FAQ. What do we use? The lip filler we use is 100% pure Hyaluronic acid. When this is injected into the skin and lips, it results in a deeper plumping effect that can help to stimulate collagen synthesis. This partially restores the skin components while keeping the skin looking firm and plump. How long do the results last? Results will last between 2-6 months dependant on the individual client. Is the treatment safe? Like with most treatments there can be possible side effects. As we use Hyaluronic Acid fillers it’s very unlikely to cause an allergic reaction. If a client is to experience an adverse reaction to the treatment the client must seek medical advice immediately. There are virtually no risks or side effects for healthy candidates, however, like in any beauty service, a full consultation must be carried out prior to treatment. Are there any contra-indations? There are certain medical condition that would restrict or prevent the treatment. Some of these include diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure and arthritis. How are the derma-fillers dissolved? Over time the body will naturally break down filler, however there is a way to speed up the process; you can do this by the injection of Hyaluronidase. This product can only be sold to and delivered by a licenced Doctor/ Dentist and Pharmacies working with licenced establishments. How does the filler enter the lips? The needle-free system uses air and pressure to insert filler into the skin. Compared to traditional lip injections there is less bruising, less swelling and minimal pain. What is hyaluronic acid? Although the word ‘acid’ might sounds a little scary when talking about putting it on your face, do not panic. Our natural skin cells produce hyaluronic acid to maintain moisture levels. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that is part of the skins youth-supporting matrix.
