VTCT Complementary Therapy Diploma - Level 3
The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapy is a highly respected qualification that is ideal for those looking to embark on a career in complementary therapy. Upon completion, graduates will be fully equipped to set up their own practice or work in a variety of settings, including spas, health clinics and wellness centres.
Course includes development of knowledge and understanding of the principles, practice and business practice for complementary therapies. Furthermore, you will learn about anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies.
Alongside the academia of complimentary therapy development of practical skills to provide body massage, aromatherapy and reflexology enabling employability once completed, either in a salon, spa, NHS, health clinics, or as a mobile therapist. You may also choose to complete an additional unit which will develop your knowledge and understanding of healthy eating and wellbeing for the complementary therapy client.
This is a practitioner level qualification consists of 6 units, 2 external papers, evidenced portfolio as well as assignments to meet the criteria. Self study, case studies and evidenced treatments are expected to finalise the qualification. There are 30 treatments to be carried out for massage and aromatherapy units and 100 treatments to be carried out for the reflexology.
This is an intense qualification and requires commitment to complete. There are 520 guided learning hours with 510 self study hours. To become a qualified Complimentary therapist all three therapy studies with mandatory units must be achieved.

Prerequisites:- minimum booking to run; participants must have level 2/IELTS 6 to attend. Lower level English speakers of other languages can attend classes to raise their English standards at an extra cost to enable success. Level 2/GCSE A-C qualification is required.
A kit will be required to purchase also upon booking. Further details will be given once payment has been received. A 20% booking fee applies, with full balance payable one week before course commencement. Payment plans can be set up upon request or Klarna payment plans available.
Minimum participation is required to run. Eastern Shimmer reserves the right to cancel the booking 7 days prior should numbers not be met with full refund given. Should you wish to cancel, 14 days notice is required for full refund or deposit returned. Thereafter, 20% deposit is non refundable.
