VTCT Level 2 Lash, Brow & Perming

Service Description

This course is ideal for those wishing to get a taster of being a lash technician and also a good starting place to step into that career. This course offers two full qualifications and gives you the skills to eyelash and brow tint, eyebrow shape using tweezers and apply a lash perm/lift treatment. Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, tests and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence. This Course offers you two qualifications : VTCT Level 2 Award in Eyelash and Eyebrow Treatments VTCT Level 2 Award in Eyelash Perming The VTCT Level 2 Award in Eyelash and Eyebrow Treatments develops your practical skills in shaping (tweezers) and colouring, tinting eyelashes and eyebrows. The unit of study is: Lash and Brow Treatments The VTCT Level 2 Award in Eyelash Perming will provide you the skills to perform a lash perm and to extend your sills we will show you a Lash Lift. The units of study are: Health and Safety Client Care Eyelash Perming These courses are combined and are completed over 2 days. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out skills independently. No kit is required for this course however we do recommend that you purchase one to allow you to practise at home - your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of your course. This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications. There are no entry requirements however, English must be at Level 1 standard to participate. An assessment/interview will be required prior commencement of course to participate. English as a Second Language is available separately for 2.5 hours a week at an extra charge, but must be booked concurrently with a beauty course at Eastern Shimmer. Mode of delivery is attendance at Eastern Shimmer supported with online classroom. A 20% booking fee applies, with full balance payable one week before course commencement to cover tuition, registration with awarding body and exam fees. Minimum participation is required to run. Eastern Shimmer reserves the right to cancel booking 7 days prior should numbers not be met with full refund given. Should you wish to cancel, 7 days notice is required for full refund of deposit/any monies paid. After this date, deposit of 20% is non refundable.
